Frequently Asked Questions

No question is too small when it comes to Birth.

A doula is a companion who supports you emotionally, physically and informationally during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Unlike a midwife or doctor, a doula does not perform medical tasks or make decisions for you.

Certification depends on the country and context. More important than a certificate is a Doula's presence, experience and the trust you feel with her. My background includes both formal nursing training and years of lived practice as a Doula and mother.

My core offering is the Deep Prenatal Session / The Birth Preparation Journey - a one-time, spacious meeting of a morning or afternoon that brings clarity, confidence and balance. It can stand beautifully on its own or be the doorway into a longer journey together.

This work is designed as one whole passage - complete in itself. At times it can be divided, depending on circumstances. This is always decided individually. Still, I invite you to experience it as one unified journey, which carries the deepest impact.

Yes. A doula does not replace medical professionals, but walks alongside. My main focus is always you. My work is rooted in responsibility and respect, holding space for your emotional and spiritual well-being, while complementing the medical care you choose - wherever and however you give birth.

Yes. Every woman I work with is warmly invited into the Born Remembering Mothers' Circle - a private space for asking questions, sharing reflections and staying connected long after our first meeting.
